I tried ADQuery with CachedUpdates = True, added a new record to ADQuery, deleted this new record in a cloned ADMemTable, called ApplyUpdates. Nothing bad happens. As I see the new record was deleted (freed) and is not in the change log.
So, either the issue was fixed between 5.0.3 and 6.0.1, either you have some additional settings leading to the issue. I will suggest to try with 6.0.1 and if it will fail, then please prepare a test application, reproducing the issue.
